Natural links are best

Search engine algorithms value high quality natural links, including links that appear to be natural. Just any old link from anywhere is of very little use. Submissions of links need to have relevance to the industry or service that they are being linked to.

Quality incoming links are VERY difficult to obtain. Besides innovative link baiting viral strategies, it takes time spent hunting for special link opportunites, weeding through opportunities that are not valuable, knowing how to gauge the value, legitimacy and relevance.

Building links is very time consuming but given time very well worth it in the long run.
