What is SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)

The word SEO is an abbreviation for search engine optimisation. Seo is a process by which websites are optimised so that they can be seen favourably to the search engines and raise the visitor’s traffic by making websites rank higher in the search engines like google, yahoo, Ask and Bing and many others although the first three are by far the biggest.  The higher the search engine ranking normally leads to more visitors which in return leads to more sales.

The beauty of gaining organic rankings is that it is like having a salesperson working for you for free!
